The MBS official IP Ownership Assignment Contract

Attached you will find the official Mad Badger Studio Intellectual Property (IP) Ownership Assignment contract. I generated this contract due to the fact that we currently have three projects in production under the MBS label, one game, one joyful exercise interactive simulation and one Unity 3d API. Of those three IP’s, only one is my original idea/IP. Due to the nature of this industry, when working on an IP not owned by the studio, or the studio owner, you MUST cover your ass legally. This contract signs IP rights to the studio in exchange for a higher revenue share of the IP once money is generated, in accordance with the Contractor Handbook. Please feel free to use this contract as a template for your company if you so desire, but ensure to change your data where applicable to reflect your company.

Independent Contractor Review

Indie DB Profile

I have also begun work on an Indie DB profile for us (See below). Like the Angels List and F6S profiles, it is also currently in draft mode, but when it goes live, I will update this post to include the link and finished images.  What is Indie DB?  Indie DB is a community of independent developers and fans of independent games in which we are able to directly communicate with fans and players. It allows us to show off work very early, establish a solid feedback loop, showcase early builds and so much more. For an independent developer it is a must!

CSG -115 A structure for a file!

So, I am going to try and do more video blogs (actually vlogs) on here more often for ease of use... So, without further adieu, here is my first one. This is an overview of my file structure for my CSG production class. I am the build master for this team, so I am tasked with the monotonous task of making sure our build stays clean, pure and structured. Good times....
